Childrena childreni, also called Large Silverstripe or Großer Silberstrich is a high-contrast . The first description was in 1831 by Gray. With a wingspan of 8.0 – 9.0 cm the Large Silverstripe is a small member of the family NYMPHALIDAE. The butterfly is orange, grey and green with black spots and many silverstrips.
