The genus PAPILIO contain about 200 species and it is the biggest group of PAPILIONIDAE. PAPILIO butterflies (Swallowtails) lives on each continent without Antarctic. The biggest biodiversity is in tropical areas. Feedplants are members of family LAURACEAE, RUTACEAE and UMBELLIFERAE.
