The Tribe CHARAXINI contain only two genera. All species of this genera can fly very fast. Often they have two tails on there backwings.

This genus contain about 20 species and it is a small group of NYMPHALIDAE. POLYURA butterflies are from Palaearctic (Asia) and Australasia/Indomalaya (Australia). Species are closely related with CHARAXES butterflies.
