The following species are members of genus TROGONOPTER and they are represented on this homepage.

The genus TROGONOPTER was described in 1890 by Rippon. It contains at present about 2 species. The genus TROGONOPTER is a very small group of PAPILIONIDAE. TROGONOPTER butterflies are from AUSTRALASIA-INDOMALAYA.
These butterflies are green and black.
All of them are also called birdwing-butterflies. Birdwings are wonders of nature and we have to protect them.
