Subfamily PAPILIONINAE
Subfamily PAPILIONINAE contains three tribes. Furthermore the tribes contains the genus and the genus combine with the specific name accuratly defined any species.
The largest butterflies on earth (e.g. Birdwing butterflies and Swallowtails) are member of this subfamiy. Many of this species have tails on there backwings. Because of the scale and colourfulness the PAPILIONINAE are the eye-catching butterflies on earth.
